Kitchen The kitchen features a beautiful but temperamental Italian range. To use the stove top burner keep the knob pressed in and hold the flame on for about 30 seconds before releasing and placing a pan on top of the burner. If the burner flame out remove pan and relight flame for at least a minute before placing pan over the flame again. To use the oven, touch the digital display and you'll get an icon for the two ovens. The kitchen is well stocked but there are some hidden storage spaces. On each side of the range, the second drawer from the top has a hidden little drawer with condiments, supplies and utensils. Also the cabinets under the island facing the refrigerator contain some useful appliances like blenders and juicers. Grilling utensils are in a drawer below the glass cabinets. If you want to read extremely boring appliance manuals they are in right bottom drawer below glass cabinetry in kitchen. Any food in the pantry or refrigerator is fair game. AV TVs are on a local wired network. If they lose network connection restart to the wired connection not wireless. Each TV has our login profiles saved for Max, Netflix, Hulu, Disney and Amazon Prime. Feel free to use those or change to your own. For regular cable channels (News, ESPN, Network TV, etc) use the DirectTV app. To play music on the Sonos system you can use your own music streaming app and simply select the rooms where you want music. Arcade Key things to operate the arcade machine in the loft: -on/off switch is facing the wall -for 2 player mode switch orientation of screen (orientation button marked) -select category “cocktail” -use joystick to select game (Pac-Man Midway is the classic) -if credits 0, reload by pressing credits button Games There are plenty of games in the cabinets on either side of the fireplace and also in the red cabinet in the lower level. Fire Pit To use the fire pit on the deck you need the long gas key that may be sitting above the fireplace on the mantle and an igniter of some sort which you can find in the kitchen or maybe sitting by the fire pit. Air Conditioning AC thermostat in the hallway controls heating and cooling in the common areas and the master bedroom. Lower level only has heating because it always stays cool. Since the master bedroom and the loft bedroom can get warmer or colder than the rest of the house, those two rooms have their own mini-split air conditioners controlled with a remote control. Hot Tub hot tub is kept at 100°. if you want it hotter just turn up the temperature at least a half hour before you want to use it. Please replace cover on the hot tub after each use. Garbage & Recycling Property Managers will take garbage and recycling out to curb and return it to garage. If you have too much recycling or garbage just leave the bags in front of the bins. Property management knows what to do. Just one note about recycling - Glass does not go in the big recycling can but rather in blue bins in the corner of the garage. Our favorites: Harvest (breakfast & lunch) Five Seeds (breakfast all day & lunch – go early, beat the wait) Good Earth Café (vegetarian - salads, sandwiches, smoothies) Blind Dog (dinner) Yuki Yama (Sushi) Mountain & E-Biking Rentals -White Pine Touring -Jans at Snow Park Lodge Hiking There are a gazillion hiking trails in PC but there is one you can walk to. Make a right leaving the house and make another right when you get to Iron Canyon Ct. Follow to the cul-de-sac where you will find the trail head for the Iron Canyon Trail. In winter you can sled down that trail. Sleds are in the garage cabinets. Sundance Resort: 40 min drive where you can hike up to Stewart Falls and back to the resort about 3.5 miles round trip. Foundry Grill is a great place to have lunch or dinner.
